Shetland Cottage is set in stunning scenery in the Scottish Highlands, only seven miles south of Aviemore, gateway to the Cairngorms. Adjacent to the Highland Wildlife Park, Shetland Cottage is part of the Meadowside House group of holiday lets. The historic stone-built complex is very easy to access by road and rail, and Inverness Airport is only an hour away.
Shetland's accommodation sleeps 4 comfortably, in a double and a twin bedroom with a cosy lounge in the centre of the house. We have a brand new kitchen for 2022, which is also the dining room. Outside there is a large fenced garden, and includes a patio area and graden furniture...great for a dose ofevening sunshine. The complex as a whole boasts fabulous views of the Cairngorm Mountains and Spey Valley, more than an acre of grass and scrub for additional dog walking and a shared barbecue area. In all there are 12 holiday cottages in this converted cottage hospital.

We have applied for our Scottish Short Term Let license from Highland Regional Council. The application is pending (the council are working through their backlog as quickly as possible) and we look forward to being able to publish our license number as soon as possible.
Our EPC rating (given is 2016) is F. We feel confident that our new double glazing, efficient new radiators and improved draftproofing will have improved our rating.
